Posture Perfect

Somebody tried to hold a word

Living to be sure

Far from a blank page

Detached from an outcome

It's like you are trying to disappear

And it's not working

Scarcity/simplicity moving in tandem

Seeing it all vibrate toward nothingness

Every crown dissolved momentarily

Portion control then it's over

Too much thought playing with shadows

Every taste provides a texture of a new home

Whatever is left to hold onto

To service the thought until it sinks in

And makes this posture perfect
