Faint

Faint

Sometimes when it’s really quiet

I know the word I need to say to you

Everything caresses their purpose

And I am not alone

Through each verse reminds me

Of how everything gets lost in the envelope of what every page means

You look out from within

Yet everything has its place to begin

When how am I so shied away from that instant?

Can I merge with the portal and not be consumed in its draught?

Simplicity has its own law of averages

Feeling lost, consumed, bitter

No, thoughts emerge on a quieter plane

When you are revealed

Your suggestions are passports

The irises faint before there the fewest of hope prevails

I am smitten to refract and devour what witness have I left?
