Or Not

Or Not

Down the path I know

Wrought with obstacles

The ones that tarry,

The ones that grow beneath the gaze of steady lines of sight

I wonder what you alone must know

Redeemed as me holding down to the point of forgiveness

All along what gives our strength poise amongst fading light?

Something must live to survive

When all else fades as has to let go

Where are you, what do you know?

How can you help me?

If only you must see what I cannot

You know what I must give up

And you ask me to sit and listen

Everything is alive

Darkness creeping in or not
