Forever

Forever

I don’t know what you are

I just know you by what you are not

And that does not make it any easier

Looking both ways

And standing stuck in the middle

To the extent of which I borrow a vision

Stretched out and not wavering

I look at what is now building upon a foundation

So swift and staggering

Tell me now, do you need a disciple?

I am just wearing out my way around what is useful

And what is ours somehow

Incompletely absolved

In a moment we treasure as forever
