Stuck in a Different Place

They had always wished I had taken more time

Of what I knew, it was certain

I knew the walls of my cage

Now I am stuck in a different place

They looked at me to see if I was alright

I chose my words, I chose my flight

What more promise could await

Being stuck in a different place

There are walls that beat you up

There are choices when things are enough

Everyone else want the same you, the same rules

But no one knows your heart and its pace

All I wanted this time for:

Freely stuck in a different place.

What grows old are the musts

What holds on is the dust

I can't stay, when I could run find a way

To get stuck in a different place

Freedom and the happiness it makes

Getting stuck in a different place
