Rapunzel

Slitting ends

Twisting, braiding

Hope to climb out soon

There is a light

Feathered by your window

And the moments passed away

A future perhaps made on another timeshare

There in your grasp you can follow

To know what bequeaths:

A moment you can share

When you have arrived at another question

Soon this made up thing is just paralysis

A hope bends through a prism of pain

Maybe less is more than reaching out absolves

Priorities exchange a bit for a tattle

A muse for the price you are willing to pay

For staying too long
